Take Me Out To The Ball Game!

And what an amazing game it was.  We had the best baseball coaches a team could ask for.  The boys were expected to work hard, but they were always rewarded and the hard work paid off.  The coaches organized an end of season game with another team and brought out all the stops.  We had Slugrrr, the national anthem, Royals Hall of Famer Jeff Montgomery to throw out the first pitch, announcers, an ump and even a videographer to cature the whole event.  It was a wonderful evening, one the boys will not soon forget.

Legoland

The week school got out, okay so I am a little behind, we took the boys on a little staycation.  One place we visited was Legoland.  We weren't really sure what to expect but it was a lot of fun.

What a great day!

He wants to buy a zoo!

Carter wants to be an animal scientist and a paleontologist when he grow ups.  He wants to live in Africa and own a zoo, because that's where all the cool animals live of course.  While I think he will make a fine animal scientist I am in the process of convincing him there are some very cool animals right here in the states (hint, hint - please, please don't move to another continent).  While we cannot afford to buy him a zoo (although I may consider it if it keeps him from moving to Africa) we did recruit Papa Mike to take us behind the scences at the GB Zoo (if anyone asks we were never there).  Carter, Chase and cousin Madeline got to be about as close to a tiger as you would ever want to be.  Carter was in heaven, he is really into the big cats and really loves learning everything about them.

Deanna Rose

After watching Carter ride the ponies the last two summers Chase finally got his turn now that he is three.  Of course, Carter now seems to be "too big" as he says. to ride the ponies.  He decided to take up fishing this year.  We also had a tag along, Carter's best buddy Blake.

Ready to Ride!

Both boys got new bikes for their brithdays.  Well, Carter got a new bike and Chase got Carter's old big boy bike, sorry buddy hand-me-downs are in your future.  The good news is Chase was so excited to get Carter's bike and he did get a BRAND new helmet to boot.  They both need a little practice but before long they will be tearing up the cul-de-sac.

Carter was doing so well, until he turned a little too sharp.
He did not handle the fall well, I think his ego was bruised.

Easter

Okay, so I'm only about two months behind.  We had great Easter.  The boys loved hunting for eggs this year.  Aunt Lissa gave them tickets for the Midland Railway Easter Train which was also I big hit.  Since I am trying to catch up I will let the pictures do the taking.
