Ring Men!

The boys were the "ring men" as Carter calls it in Uncle Rob and Aunt Ashley's wedding in April. They did both make it down the aisle, although it was an interesting and somewhat long walk.

A Visit From The Tooth Fairy

Some may say I am sentimental, but yesterday was a big day in my book and in Carter’s.  He lost his first tooth! 

When he came to me about a month ago and said he had two loose teeth I didn’t believe him after all he just turned five and was nowhere near old enough to have one let alone two loose teeth.   After a quick demonstration I had no choice but to acknowledge what was happening.  Just one more reminder that my baby was growing up way too fast, right before my eyes.

It has been about a month since then and when he just couldn’t wait a second longer for it to fall out on its own he asked daddy for a little help and a few seconds and a little tug later there it was.  So with his tooth in his hand and a hole in his head he ran to the bathroom mirror beaming with excitement. 

Preparing for the toothfairy, with the cutest toothless smile in the world. I guess it is a good thing I got him a toothy monster pillow for Easter.

I guess I also need to stock up on two dollar bills, all we had in the house was fives so it turned out to be one expensive tooth, but worth every penny!
